Gesture and Leap: examine contour and flexibility
The library describes Gesture as contoured foam and Leap as flexible foam. Both start in the conventional task-seat family, but a broad seat alone does not establish fit. Look at the contour beneath the cover and the front edge in the position you use.
Check stability and flat support with your actual seat setup. A shape that makes the cover bridge a gap, curl at an edge or move out of place needs assessment rather than an assumed pass based on the brand.
Amia, Think and Series 1 are not the same as Karman
Amia and Think profiles use upholstered task seats; Series 1 uses the compact-foam profile. These give the five-question check a different starting point from Karman's suspended surface. The manufacturer's Karman page describes its mesh and hybrid seat construction.
Karman therefore starts in the mesh-review category in the Kiso Axis flow. A favorable answer on a padded model does not certify the suspended model, and a mesh result still needs review after the questions are answered.
Choose the model, then answer the questions
Each model link below opens the live chair checker with that chair selected. It preserves the distinction between a catalogue profile and a completed fit result. Check the exact version, its condition and the way you use the seat.
Kiso Axis adds a thin pressure-sensing layer and private cue to an existing seat. The guide does not establish Steelcase endorsement, product testing or medical outcomes. Use the resulting chair memo when discussing early access.
